Dreaming, For Less Than The Cost of A Coffee
I used to think I was paranoid but now, well, I’m just fine. I’m an author, and that’s half way to being crazy anyway. And if I’m half way there, it only takes a hint that the great and powerful are on my case and whoopee! Goodbye sanity, hello full blown paranoia.
I’m better now. Honestly. I no longer obsess about things the way I used to, and I no longer imagine publishers and literary agents are out to get me. How did I manage this miracle cure? It slowly dawned on me that the nasty publishers and agents just don’t care about me and my books! Why should they? More and more books are released every day, they can grab a few if they need to, or they can pass if they’d prefer a few days holiday instead.
Now I can fight back. My friends and I write good books. Mostly cheerful, sexy romances. We like them, and our readers like them, so selling them is just a matter of getting the word out. We’ve started Yellow Silk Dreams where we sell good books for less than a Starbuck’s coffee.
Click the banner below and see what we are doing. We are free of the greedy people at the top of the book trade. We can write what we like, and sell it a cheaply as we like. How good is that!
Gemme Parkes is there with several books, and there will be posting another two this week. We have Jocelyn Modo, Eve McFadden, Chris Kalyta and soon even Blak Rayne will be there. We will have new books every month, and hopefully new authors too.
If you enjoy well-written spicy romance, I can guarantee you will find it here.
Jacqueline lives in Far North Queensland, on the shore of the Coral Sea. She keeps herself busy with her cats and garden, and by writing books - some of which are far too naughty for her own good. You can find out more about Jacqueline and her books at www.jacquelinegeorgewriter.com
