FFAF - Beautiful Black Men

Welcome back! How was your Christmas? Mine went by so quickly I literally blinked and it was over. I don't know what your thoughts are, but I swear time goes by faster as I age, either that or when I was younger it felt like I had all the time in the world. Regardless, 2012 is almost gone. And, something else to note, we're all still here. Obviously the Mayans were wrong about December 21, or we interpreted their calendar wrong. Too funny!

As for my FFAF this Friday, I've decided to post a little beauty in the ebony department. Just recently I created a pin board at Pinterest called ‘Beautiful Black Men’. It’s a board I seriously need to add content to. And that means I have to make the time. Anyway, as everyone knows I’ve got a soft spot for Asian men, but that doesn’t infer I don’t find other men as equally attractive. I find men appealing, period. I don’t care what shape, age, ethnic background, or size; men are and always will be the best thing since sliced bread, in my books. Thus the reason I write M/M. What better way to celebrate the many beautiful men I’ve met throughout my life, then putting pen to paper and creating the characters I do.
There is definitely something sexy about the black man–the dark, haunting stare–the rich colour of his flesh–the contrast between muscle and bone structure that is so striking because of the dark pigment. I’m not sure which it is exactly, or perhaps it’s a combination of all three, but regardless, I think black men are beautiful and carry a powerful presence. Hollywood, as an example, plays host to some of the most well respected and attractive black men around, actors like Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington and Will Smith–to name only a few. Yum Denzel! LOL Anyway, I think you understand, whatever the fascination, I’m hooked!
Happy Yaoi Hunting!

  1. Yum!

Actually, I keep finding myself writing heroes who are black, although I'm as Caucasian as they come. So I definitely can identify.
