Do you judge a book by its cover?
Over the past few years I have been
very fortunate to have a dozen books published. Even more so, I’m ecstatic to
have several more due out later this year. For some writing is a job or even a
career, but for many of us it is a passion. I would definitely fall into the
latter category.
For me there are several things about
publishing that give me those little SQUEE moments. First, of course there is
that moment when you’re offering a publishing contract for your story. That is
a very big SQUEE worthy moment. Then there is edits which, let’s face it, not
so SQUEE-ish. Then there is the time when the book cover comes! This can be
very SQUEE worthy indeed!
Over the years I have had some covers I
like, some I love and then some that I just stare at and say WOWZA… is that my book cover? My question for everyone
reading this though is… How important is a book cover to you when you decide to
make a purchase? Are you the type to forego reading the blurb all together
because the cover turned you off? Or are you the kind that will read all blurbs
in your genre of choice regardless of what the cover looks like?
Below please find the covers for all of
my current releases. As you can see some are sweet and sensual, while others
are very hot!!! Which one is your
favorite? If you know what the stories about, please put that out of your mind
and just look at the cover. If they were on postcards instead of books, which
one would you be sure to buy?
Leave me your answer below in the
comment sections along with your email address. One lucky winner will be drawn
from the highly scientific method of pulling a name out of a hat. The winner
will win an eBook copy of either When
Promise Meets Passion or The Nexus
(winner’s choice). I will announce the winner on the morning of 9/5 so you all
have plenty of time to enter for your chance to win!
And here is a sneak peek at my

she gets divorced and becomes a single parent.

his power to sweep her off her feet and make the angel he remembered from all
those years before comes his. Despite her insecurities, the two find an
